Zack Abnet is a climate, energy, and human flourishing advocate who is a resident of Texas. Zack was born in the east African nation of Ethiopia, immigrating to the U.S at the age of seven alongside his parents and two brothers. This background has informed his decision to pursue a career in public service in order to give back to a nation that has given much to him and his family. Having a deep interest in geopolitics and human development from an early age, Zack pursued a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Texas State University, graduating in 2020.
Currently, Zack Abnet Is Texas State Director for the American Conservation Coalition (ACC), a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing a conservative climate movement. His work in Texas has led to the flushing of ACC presence across the state, bringing together partners, advocates, and stakeholders to push forward common-sense climate action. In his free time, Zack loves to enjoy the outdoors of Texas hill country and passionately cheer for the Dallas Cowboys as they pursue the ultimate prize.
