Timothy McGovern is on the sales team at Pico, a leading provider of technology services for financial markets. Timothy sells machine-time intelligence products and colocation hosting, network connectivity, and market data services. His clients include exchanges, banks, hedge funds, electronic market makers, asset managers, fintech service providers, and trading platforms. Prior to joining Pico, Timothy was a Sales Director at Dublin-based Corvil, a market leader in real-time analytics and machine intelligence products for financial markets infrastructure performance and operations. Earlier in his career, Timothy was a product controller supporting various fixed income and interest rate trading desks at Barclays and Cantor Fitzgerald. 

Timothy was born in Manhattan and raised in Wilton, Connecticut where he served as an EMT with the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He earned a Political Science degree from Villanova University and was elected Student Body Vice President.  Timothy's Student Government Association is most remembered for increasing school spirit by launching the SGA V-Shirt as a first step to unify the student-body at men's basketball games into an easily identifiable mass, a Sea of V. The shirt design was later adopted by Villanova as the official Nova Nation "V" shirt and is worn in the stands today by thousands of students, alumni, and fans. After graduating, Timothy served as President of the Villanova University Club of NYC representing 11,000 area graduates. Over 8 years, his team engaged thousands of alumni and executed 150+ events driving fundraising participation to all-time highs.  Timothy lives in Manhattan’s Financial District and is an active member of the New York Athletic Club.
