Taryn Fenske currently serves as the Communications Director in the Executive Office of Governor Ron DeSantis, overseeing the Governor’s communications team, and the communications of over 20 state agencies. She has a long history of experience in the Florida political sphere, beginning her career in the Executive Office of Governor Rick Scott. In 2017, Taryn worked in D.C. as communications director for Congressman John Rutherford. She also worked at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon moving back to Tallahassee, she expanded her portfolio, serving as the Florida Communications Director for the Republican National Committee during the 2018 election cycle and then as a Deputy Chief of Staff at the Florida Department of Education. Taryn is a graduate of Florida State University.
