Sarah Ferman
Sarah was born and raised in Sherman, Texas. Prior to her graduation from Sherman High School, she started her journey in politics by attending the “Lead America” conference in Washington, D.C. While attending the University of Oklahoma, Sarah worked on U.S. Representative Tom Cole’s reelection campaign and then became an intern for U.S. Senator James Inhofe. After two years in Senator Inhofe’s Oklahoma City office, Sarah moved to Washington, DC where she continued to work for Senator Inhofe and finish her degree in political science and public policy at Georgetown University.
As part of Senator Inhofe’s office staff, Sarah was involved in legislative research, correspondence and key policy issues that advanced the legislative agenda of the Senator. After almost four years with Senator Inhofe, Sarah left Capitol Hill to work for the Institute of International Finance (IIF) where she was the Special Assistant to the President and CEO, Tim Adams and Managing Director, Ambassador Kristen Silverberg.
After two years at the IIF, Sarah was recruited by then CEO Governor Frank Keating of the American Bankers Association where she spent six years leading lobbying and advocacy efforts for the Bank Insurance Division push forward on legislative and regulatory issues as a part of a government relations team, she assumed advocacy and committee leadership for the Bank Insurance division at the American Bankers Association where she led the lobbying and advocacy efforts.
Sarah recently moved back to North Texas where she is pursuing her Executive at Southern Methodist University. Sarah was one of the first conservative voices for Trump in liberal Washington, DC and is Co-Chair of the North Texas Maverick Pac, a conservative pac that focuses on getting people under 40 in the Republican Party.
