Samuel Greco

Sam Greco is currently a Republican candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, District 19. He commissioned as a JAG officer in the United States Navy in 2018 and served on active duty from 2019-2024. He was most recently based at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL. During his time on active duty, Sam had the opportunity to work as a prosecutor, advise senior military commanders, and perform legal aid work for servicemembers. Sam continues to serve as a Lieutenant (O-3) in the United States Navy Reserve today.
Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where he majored in International Politics with a concentration in International Security. Following his undergraduate studies, Sam worked for Ernst & Young where he served as a staff consultant in the Defense and National Security group of the firm’s Government and Public Sector practice. In that role, he worked on accounts servicing the United States Department of Defense.
In 2019, Sam graduated with his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center. As a law student, Sam spent nearly two years serving as a Law Clerk in the United States Senate, first for the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs under Chairman Ron Johnson and then for the Senate Committee on the Judiciary under both Chairman Chuck Grassley and Chairman Lindsey Graham. While with the Judiciary Committee, Sam assisted in the confirmations of dozens of federal judges and Department of Justice officials, including Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Sam married his wife, Elanda, in 2023, and they reside in St. Augustine, FL. Sam is a third-generation member of The Florida Bar.
