Salome Garcia has pursued a strong interest and passion in energy policy her entire career. She is an energy attorney and political strategist located in Atlanta Georgia with a decade of experience in political communications, campaign strategy, and energy policy.
Salome began her career with the Republican Party of Florida, working on the campaigns for Governor Rick Scott and Congressman Carlos Curbelo and leading youth voter and volunteer efforts across South Florida.
In her career Salome successfully worked alongside elected and regulated bodies at the local, state and federal levels on energy policy. Salome also worked in the office of general council at the Florida Public Service Commission and currently serves as a Senior Principal at a trade association focusing on energy generation, distribution, and demand.
Salome has published articles on Nuclear Power regulation, spoken at the University of Miami and Florida International University on energy production policy and has helped shape energy policy platforms of elected officials since 2017.
Salome has also been consistently involved in the faith community and credits her Christian upbringing and faith with what drives her passion to community involvement. During her graduate education at Yale School of Public Health and her law school career at Florida State University College of Law she was deeply engaged with The Faith and Freedom Coalition and the Association of Pastors and working alongside coalitions of faith institutions to increase voter outreach.
