Rudy Olivo

North Carolina

Rudy Olivo is the Chief of Staff at Job Creators Network (JCN), an organization created to champion entrepreneurship, small business, and free markets in each State and the Nation's Capitol. JCN was founded by one of America's leading entrepreneurs: Bernie Marcus, Co- Founder of Home Depot.

Before joining JCN, Rudy served as Deputy Director of Strategic Initiatives for Vice President Mike Pence. In that role, he worked with corporate, manufacturers, educational institutions, and faith leaders to partner on the Administration's robust agenda; tackling the Coronavirus pandemic, spurring job creation, economic mobility, and providing a quality education regardless of zip code. As a Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor, he focused on policy initiatives from small business healthcare solutions to expanding workforce opportunities through the National Council for the American Worker and HIREVets. As the Economic Development lead for a U.S. Congressman, Rudy built pipelines of partnerships that would aim to produce sustainable job creation and investment in North Carolina.

Before his public service, Rudy started a small business in the information technology space. That success helped him pave his way through college. It sparked a challenge in him to see others thrive in their business, launching a management firm aimed at turning businesses around.

Rudy is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He lives in North Carolina with his wife and daughter Everly.
