Orlando Pryor has worked in the Florida health care industry his entire professional career. Currently, Orlando is the Director of Corporate Affairs for Humana in Florida. In this role, Orlando manages state/local government relations activities and advocacy efforts for all of Humana’s business operations in Florida. Humana is one of the largest insurers in the state with 2.5 million members. 

Previously, Orlando was a Principal Consultant for Strategos Group Public Affairs. At Stategos Group he served as the primary consultant for all healthcare clients and developed high impact strategies for those clients before the Florida executive and legislative branches. Before that, Orlando served in state government. For 7 years he held several roles at the Agency for Health Care Administration. Over his career at the Agency, Orlando has been either directly responsible for or apart of the team that passed nine bills over seven legislative sessions – as well as countless budget priorities. At the time of his leaving the Agency, Orlando was the Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Affairs Director. Orlando was also a member of the Agency’s management team – steering Agency policy, procedures, and determined the health care policy for the 4 million Medicaid recipients of Florida. 

Orlando holds a Bachelors in Economics from the University of North Florida and a M.B.A from the University of Florida. Additionally, he serves on various boards. Outside of work and school, Orlando and his wife, Viviana, has a growing family– with one young son, Rafael, and another one on the way. He is an avid golfer, reader, and plays piano.
