Nick Bouknight is a partner at Capitol Counsel. Prior to joining Capitol Counsel, Bouknight ran the hard-dollar arm of the Congressional Leadership Fund, the House Republican Leadership endorsed Super PAC. In the 2020 and 2018 election cycles, he was Executive Director of Kevin McCarthy’s political operation. 

Bouknight has extensive policy and communications experience inside and outside of Congress, having served as Director of Issue Advocacy at the American Action Network, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting center-right policies. Previously, he also worked as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Rep. McCarthy, as well as on the communications staff of the House Ways and Means Committee. Nick earned his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law and B.S. in Economics from Villanova University. He resides in Washington, DC with his wife and three children.
