Megan McKinley
Megan McKinley currently works at the NRSC for Chairman Todd Young as a Senior Finance Coordinator helping the committee shatter fundraising records and keep the GOP Senate Majority. Prior to that, she worked for two years in the office of Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) as a Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff and Deputy Scheduler. Following that, she transitioned to political fundraising at Socko Strategies, where, in 2018, she worked for Senator Rubio, Senator Young, Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Senator Kevin Cramer, Congressman Bradley Byrne, and Governor Kristi Noem. Her other experience includes internships in the Office of Speaker Paul Ryan, Congressman Ander Crenshaw, and Comcast Government Affairs.
A native of Tallahassee, FL, she is a proud Floridian who has been a political junkie her entire life and has deep ties to the Florida political scene. Her father, Will McKinley, is president of his own lobbying shop, PooleMcKinley, and her mother, Susie Rumberger McKinley, is editor of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Magazine. In addition, her grandfather, Thom Rumberger, served as a US Circuit Judge for the Florida Eighteenth Judicial Circuit and represented the Republican Party of Florida in 1992 in the historic redistricting of Florida.
Megan graduated from the University of Georgia in 2016 with a BA in Political Science and minor in Spanish. In her free time, she is a voracious reader, Soulcycle lover, live music fanatic, and devoted David Bowie fan.
