Matt is a tax attorney and finance professional in Dallas, TX. He works in the mergers and acquisitions tax practice for a big four accounting firm, where he assists buy and sell side clients, provides due diligence, and tax structuring work. Previously he was a financial analysis manager for a global manufacturer. He earned a BBA (in finance) from Texas Tech University, a J.D. from The University of Tulsa, and an LLM (in taxation) from Georgetown University Law Center.

Before law school, Matt began his career in public service and politics. He served in the Bush 43 White House and worked as Field Director for Congressman Michael Burgess’ campaign (TX 26th Congressional District). 

Outside of work, Matt enjoys involvement in MavPAC, time with family and friends, hiking in Big Bend National Park, and frisbee with his mini Aussie, Duke. Matt is a parishioner at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
