Mallory Morris
Plano, TX
Mallory began her political advocacy in the conservative arena when she was a student at Winthrop University. While at Winthrop, Mallory started out by interning for Ralph Norman’s U.S. Congressional campaign for the Fifth District followed by a Washington D.C. Summer internship with SC’s senior U.S. Senator Lindsey O. Graham. After returning home from Washington, D.C., Mallory became the Winthrop University Chair for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s Presidential Campaign and was a founding member of the York County Young Republicans.
After Mallory moved back to her hometown of Myrtle Beach, her political career really began to take off by serving as the Chairman of the Grand Strand Young Republicans and hosting one of the largest political events for the newly drawn Seventh Congressional District and being the Secretary of the GOP Seventh Congressional District. In 2014, she took a job with U.S. Senator Tim Scott’s re-election campaign and helped him receive more than 90% of the voter turnout. From there, Mallory joined an esteemed group of people at the South Carolina Republican Party to promote SC Victory for all Republican candidates from the federal level to the local level in the 14 counties located in the Sixth and Seventh U.S. Congressional Districts. Thanks to Mallory’s leadership and efforts, SC Governor Nikki Haley was able to win her re-election campaign by helping secure a 71% voter turnout in Horry County, while the rest of her Republican candidates received over 50% turnout.
Mallory will tell you that 2015 is by far her favorite year in her political career due to her work in helping now U.S. Congressman Russell W. Fry win his first-ever political race in the South Carolina House of Representatives against four other primary opponents and working for former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. In her largest political role to date as one of Bush’s SC State Field Directors, Mallory made over 60,000 phone calls and 15,000 door walks targeting voters within 11 counties over the span of six months. It was during this campaign that she got to meet many other young conservatives such as her, many of whom went on to found Maverick PAC. After working for Governor Bush, Mallory went on to serve as campaign manager for two very high-profile South Carolina State Senate races before hanging up her political hat to go work in the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
In 2020, Mallory made her biggest and boldest move by leaving South Carolina to move to the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas to work for then-Texas General Land Office Commissioner George P. Bush. Under Bush’s leadership, Mallory has transitioned her political advocacy skills from campaigns to begin helping one of America’s most special populations, Veterans. Mallory’s proudest accomplishment under the Bush Administration were the military family days she planned for a combined ten Army and Marines Reserve Units in Grand Prairie in September 2022. Her work with the Texas Veterans Land Board has provided help to over 5,000 veterans a year. Mallory currently serves as the Lead Marketing and Outreach Coordinator where she oversees all military members and veterans across North Texas. In June 2024, Mallory helped organize and co-host one of the largest Veteran resource fairs held at a VA Hospital Clinic in the United States where over 500 Veterans were helped with over 1200 needs. Her latest project is to throw the largest holiday party the Texas National Guard has seen in the DFW area where she will be serving more than 1,000 Army National Guard soldiers and their families.
Mallory is a political science graduate from Winthrop University and a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As a proud granddaughter of a WWII Veteran who flew with the Fighting Tigers and a brother-in-law currently deployed with the U.S. Army, she never thought she would be entering the family business. When she is not working in the Veteran realm, she volunteers with the Junior League of Dallas, where she has served on the Development Committee for the last three years, helping fundraise over $1M each year for the League’s community non-profits and volunteers. She may be a Texas resident now, but she will be the first to tell you that she will always be a Carolina girl and that the Carolina Tar Heels are the best college sports team in America.
