Jesse Arm is the Director of External Affairs at the Manhattan Institute, where he oversees the organization’s government relations and coalition-building work. Prior to the Manhattan Institute, Jesse worked as a pollster and project manager at Applecart, an NYC-based political consulting and data analytics firm, where he advised political campaigns, advocacy organizations, trade associations, and corporations.
Jesse has also participated in the Public Interest Fellowship and worked for Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), Representative Dan Benishek (R-MI1), the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, and the analytics arm of a major lobbying firm — American Continental Group. Jesse’s writing and commentary has appeared in The New York Times, City Journal, NPR, Jerusalem Post and in the book Anti-Zionism on Campus: The University, Free Speech, and BDS. Jesse graduated with honors from the University of Michigan, where he majored in international political economy, and studied language and international affairs at Tel Aviv University.
