About Thomas
Representative Thomas Pressly is completing his four year term in the Louisiana House of Representatives representing Shreveport-Bossier City. He is currently running for the Louisiana State Senate. Pressly has received acclaim for his common sense approach to legislation, legislative advocacy for pro-growth policies, and his determination to tackle tough issues facing Louisiana.
He is a native of Shreveport and returned to Northwest Louisiana with his wife Maggie after obtaining his bachelor’s degree from TCU where he served as student body president, and a juris doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Pressly began his legal career as a law clerk to United States District Judge Maury Hicks and is a partner at Pettiette Armand Law Firm in Shreveport.
Future Plans
I am currently running for the Louisiana State Senate. With the election being held on October 14, 2023, my future plans involve campaigning hard for the next few weeks!
