Future Plans

I just submitted my manuscript with Hachette Publishing for a memoir called Motorhome Prophecies coming out early next year; it's about how I recovered from an abusive childhood of poverty, welfare and sexual abuse and found Christianity after many years as a bitter agnostic. It's about the quintessential American principle of rising above victimhood and finding success, and I hope it empowers others.

Why MavPAC?

The world is a discouraging place these days, with Americans' views on patriotism, family, community, faith, and hard work declining. Maverick PAC captures the sunny optimism of Ronald Reagan and is a refreshing antidote to this downturn. The values that Maverick PAC promotes are both timeless and forward-looking. I'm grateful that Maverick PAC is an encouraging environment for next-generation leaders who are working to keep these values alive!

What is special about Future40?

My Future40 story had an unexpected twist. I ended up in the hospital the night that I was to receive this honor, and I was scheduled to moderate some panels during that MavCON. So unfortunately I wasn't able to make MavCON 2019, but I was very touched with how gracious and kind everybody was as I went through the recovery process. I'm deeply grateful that Maverick PAC cares about all aspects of our lives, both personal and professional. Since then, I've been glad to successfully recommend a few Future40 recipients who have also entered our crew! Maverick PAC does a wonderful job connecting like minded people, which is its secret sauce.
