Ben Proler
Ben Proler is a native of Houston, Texas and joined Shell Oil Company in 2013. He currently serves as the Commercial Manager for Shell Aviation.
He has previously optimized a comprehensive portfolio of physical commodity products including motor gasoline, diesel, and natural gas. Ben’s responsibilities today encompass all phases of Shell’s jet fuel supply chain management and trading, beginning with the strategy and planning phase and continuing through contract negotiation, coordination of logistics, and process improvement.
In March of 2015, Ben began volunteering for Senator Marco Rubio’s campaign for President. He founded the New Century: All-Americans, which was an effort to identify, engage, and mobilize young professionals from around the country in support of Senator Rubio. The effort raised over two million dollars for the campaign and engaged thousands of young professional volunteers in over thirty states.
Ben’s greatest passions are family, public service and volunteerism. He is an active member on the Board of Directors for the Holocaust Museum Houston, Congregation Emanu El, American Jewish Committee and the Houston Clean City Commission. He is also a term member on the Houston Committee on Foreign Relations and National Board Member of Maverick PAC. In 2017, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve Supply Corps.
He also serves as the National Co-Chair of Maverick PAC, an organization that provides a platform to engage the next generation of young, conservative professionals in business and politics.
In October 2017, Ben commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy Reserve. He holds a B.A. in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
