Attorney General Daniel Cameron
Kentucky
Daniel Cameron serves as the 51st Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He is the first African American elected to a standalone statewide office in Kentucky’s history, and the first Republican to serve as Attorney General since 1948.
Before his election as Attorney General, Daniel’s time as a practicing lawyer involved two years as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, two stints in private practice, and service as United States Senator Mitch McConnell’s legal counsel, where he helped the Republican Leader confirm federal judges.
As the chief legal and law enforcement officer of Kentucky, Daniel’s protected Kentuckians rights from unwarranted and unconstitutional Covid restrictions, defended laws designed to protect the unborn, and stood up to policies from the Biden Administration that are hostile to the needs of the men, women and children of the Commonwealth’s 120 counties.
Daniel is currently running for governor and is endorsed by Donald J. Trump and Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. Daniel, and his wife, Makenze, live, with their six-month old son, Theodore, in Louisville, Kentucky.
